TRU FIT MEMBER SAFETY UPDATES

Dear Tru Fit Family Member(s) and future member(s),

WELCOME BACK!! We are excited to get back into the club, and hope you are as well.

As we move to open and get you back to being TRUly FIT, we have renewed our commitment to you (our member family), our team members, and our communities, to provide the safest and cleanest facilities possible. Now, with our communities coming together to stop the spread of COVID-19, we will need everyone’s help. You and your family will play a vital role in our efforts to stop the spread, and keep us all safe and healthy.

Please review the added rules, which are mandated by the Texas Governor’s office, and some we added for additional safety. Thank you for joining us in this battle and helping to keep the rest of the TRU FIT family safe and healthy as possible.

TRU FIT Member Valets (team members dedicated to cleaning the club) will be monitoring the gym floor and helping to clean, remind our members about workout distancing (social distancing), and encouragingly reminding members to wipe down equipment. If a team member or another Tru Fit member reminds you to do one of the above, we ask that you do your part and help keep our entire TRU FIT family in your thoughts and take the right action.

HEALTH & SAFETY:I TRUly agree and confirm that I do not have any symptoms related to and have not been knowingly exposed to COVID-19.
If I feel ill or the above information changes at any time in the future, I agree to not enter any Tru Fit until medically cleared.
FACE COVERING/GLOVES:Tru Fit and the state of Texas recommends a face covering (mask that covers the mouth and nose completely) at all times while in the club for staff. This is everyone’s chance to be a masked HERO and we hope you join our team members (not mandatory for members). GLOVES must be worn to cover the entire hand from wrist to finger tips. Rubber gloves can be provided if you forget your during this first phase.
WORKOUT DISTANCING:Keep a minimum of 6 feet between other members while in the club (unless in same household). Social distancing to the non-fitness world. We TRU FITTERs use Workout distancing.
CLEANLINESS:Members must to disinfect all equipment after use, and will not enter closed off areas. Our team will be there to clean continuously but we need your help during this time to ensure every member is safe.
Tru Fit recommends all members keep hands washed/sanitized while at the club.

Tru Fit Athletic Clubs is proud to service our local communities and will continue to offer clean and safe facilities for you to reach your health and fitness needs. While these new policies are in place to help battle the spread of COVID-19 we will remove the added rules as approved by the Texas governors office.

RE-OPENING FAQ'S

WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?

CLUB HOURS
Monday – Thursday5am – 12am
Friday5am – 10pm
Saturday8am – 7pm
Sunday9am – 7pm
TRU KIDS HOURS
*Not available until Government allows

ALL Tru Fit locations will be modified to the following times until further notice. These hours allow TRU FIT to keep our staff and members as safe as possible and provide ample time to clean and disinfect the clubs according to our new elevated standards.

How many members are allowed in the gym at the same time?

This information will be based on the government allowance and protocols. Tru Fit will comply with all local and federal guidelines to keep our staff and members as safe as possible. This will be updated as we get more details. Preliminary location openings will be 25% of the building capacity which, in many of our large clubs, will accommodate a standard usage experience. WHAT AMENITIES ARE NOT AVAILABLE?

We will be updating this portion as the Phases released by our government allow. For now, here is the list:

  1. GX: GX classes will be provided with modified schedules. Schedule will be updated on our website prior to opening May 18, 2020.
  2. TRU Kids - Will remain closed until we are allowed to re-open by our Governor.
  3. Additional amenities not available: Locker Rooms, Saunas, steam rooms, showers, pools and Basketball. NOTE: Restrooms are accessible. Please plan to arrive in your workout attire.

DOES TRU FIT REQUIRE MEMBERS TO WEAR A FACE MASK WHILE WORKING OUT?

Per Governor Orders, gloves are mandatory for members during phase one that cover members hands from wrist to the fingers. Tru Fit STRONGLY (not mandatory) suggests that members wear a mask.

All Tru Fit staff will be wearing gloves and masks. Safety is our priority and we know it is for you as well.

WHAT ARE THE WORKOUT DISTANCING (SOCIAL DISTANCING) GUIDELINES AT TRU FIT?

All members will need to maintain a 6-foot distance between themselves and others in the club (except for same household families). Tru Fit has committed additional staff and procedures to help ensure these distancing guidelines are followed in our clubs.

HOW WILL TRU FIT KEEP THE GYMS CLEAN?

We will have TRU FIT staff (Tru Fit Member Valets) cleaning all open areas of the gym throughout the day and doing a deep clean every night after closing. Tru Fit will also need your help! All members should disinfect equipment after use and we will make sure the clubs are stocked with the appropriate disinfectant and hand sanitizer stations.

CAN I USE A GUEST PASS TO VISIT THE GYM?

Guest passes are not allowed at this time. Members with Tru Platinum and Tru Results memberships can still bring VIP guests with their plan. (1 per day on weekends ONLY) Friday - Sunday

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO BILL ME MY MONTHLY DUES?

All billing will resume the day the club re-opens on regularly billed days of the month. Within 7 days after we have opened, any credit for the portion of March’s dues you were assured of will appear on your account as described in our member letter (also found in our NEWS UPDATES page)!

WHEN WILL YOU CHARGE ME FOR PERSONAL TRAINING?

Personal training billing will resume the day Tru Fit opens, on your regularly scheduled due date. All session expiration dates have been extended 60 days for billing done in March.
