Group Fitness


TF-19Tru Fit Athletic Clubs offer classes for all fitness levels.  Our instructors can differentiate the class programming and cue effectively so everyone gets an awesome workout.

If you are new to a class, arrive 10 minutes prior to start time and introduce yourself to the instructor.  Bring a water bottle and sweat towel for your convenience.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS • Country Club and Lone Tree

TRX: Safely perform exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all using your own body weight on the TRX suspension system.

Barre with Becky: A spicy, energetic, fun workout that fuses fitness techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define, and chisel the entire body.  You don’t even need dance experience!  BARRE with Becky is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with added cardio to burn fat fast!  You don’t want to miss this workout! Space is limited.  Please sign up one hour in advance at the front desk.  You may call in as well.

Tread and Shred: Get your booty onto the treadmills with this insane one hour class!  If you aren’t covered in sweat by the time the class ends, we guarantee your money back!  Not only will you get a great cardio workout, but you will tone and condition just about every muscle in your body!  Please sign up for this class at the front desk.

Boot Camp: This is a great way to take your workout to the next level!  You will be moving nonstop!  There will be plenty of running, sprinting, plyometrics, pushups, athletic drills, and much more!  Don’t miss out on this butt-kicking sweat session!

Step and Tone: Choreographed Step Drills combining strength exercises using various resistance tools.

Athletic Conditioning: Sports specific drills, plyometrics and resistance training designed to improve power, strength and endurance.

Cardio Kick Box: A great cardiovascular workout incorporating punches and kicks into non-stop combinations and boxing drills.

Cardio Bosu: Using easy-to-follow step combinations and athletic drills, this class will require you to engage muscles you didn’t even know you had!

Cardio Circuit: This is a high intensity cardio workout incorporating various exercises in a timed format to give you results fast.  The ultimate fat burning workout!

TBC: Total body conditioning is a minimal choreography, maximal results class.  Improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance in this fun yet challenging class!

Tabata: If you want to burn fat and increase your metabolism, try this growing trend of high intensity interval training!

Ta-Booty: Tabata training that focuses on hard to tone areas like: Abs and buns! Get into bathing suit shape with high intensity 20 second blasts of strength and cardio moves…Any piece of equipment is fair game!

Shred 60: This class is full of strength, agility, and power moves including athletic drills!  A great weekend workout!  Come check it out!

20/20/20: This class will be broken into 3 different segments.  One for cardiovascular training, one for resistance training, and a third for abdominal work…each segment will last 20 minutes.  This workout will be fun and it will fly by!

Zumba: Dance your way to a fitter you!  Exciting and unique Latin moves and rhythms in an easy to follow format.

Abs to the Core: Tone and tighten that tummy with non-stop abdominal work!

Muscle:  This class focuses on muscular strength and endurance to strengthen and define both the upper and lower body muscles utilizing assorted resistance tools.

On the Ball: Improve balance and core strength using the stability ball, bosu and medicine ball.

Power Pump: Build muscular endurance and increase strength using body bars, weights and a variety of resistance tools with added cardio intervals to blast fat!

H.I.I.T. Fit: High Intensity Interval Training!  This class uses intervals of high and medium intensity exercises so your muscles demand more oxygen, which maximizes caloric burn!  By optimizing your oxygen intake you preserve muscle, build lean muscle, and burn more calories during and after your workout!

Cycle/Sculpt: High intensity cardio training on the bike, incorporating muscle toning exercises off the bike while using a variety of resistance tools.

Cycle: 60 minutes of instructor-led indoor cycling to high energy music.

Cycle/Interval: In this class you will work intervals, alternating instructor-led work on the bike with exercises off the bike to focus on high heart rate, upper and lower body strengthening, and high caloric burn!

Cycle to the Core: 45 minutes of instructor led indoor cycling followed by 15 minutes of straight abdominal work.

MIND/BODY
Yoga: A dynamic approach to functional balance, strength and flexibility.  Enhance body awareness with this mind/body experience.

Yoga Flow: Challenge strength, balance and flexibility through fluid connection of poses.

Candlelight Yoga: A relaxing but challenging class, in a calm candle-lit room to bring you back to your balanced center.

Beginner Yoga: This class is perfect for people just beginning their yoga practice.  Learn the terminology and poses to prepare you for other yoga classes.

Family Yoga: This class offers a great way for the whole family to be active together.  Bond with your family members as you connect your mind and body.

Yoga Sculpt: This class complements your regular yoga practice while boosting your metabolism and pushing your strength and flexibility to new heights. Free weights are added to the sequence, creating resistance and intensifying each pose. Strength-training exercises such as squats, lunges, bicep and tricep curls are incorporated to build lean muscle mass. You will see visible results in your body.

Power Yoga: Take your practice to the next level by incorporating strength, balance and flexibility while improving body awareness.

Vinyasa Yoga:  Vinyasa yoga is faster paced, and the postures are linked together in a series of movements that are synchronized with the breath. The continual movements from one pose to another gives you an added cardiovascular benefit. This class can increase muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, and reduce stress levels.

Yoga for Athletes: If you are in good shape and you didn’t think you could get a good workout in a yoga class, then this is the yoga class for you, offering challenging and difficult postures.

Mat Pilates: Increase body awareness and improve your posture with exercises that focus on your abdominals and back, but plan to use your whole body and mind.

Cyclates: 30 minutes of cycle followed by 30 minutes of Mat Pilates.  A great combination!
